We have a wonderful and dedicated team of volunteer medical professionals lined up for our first mission to Uganda. Our goal is to share our skills in this remote area of Uganda at the Muko Health Center IV, so that our work is sustainable. The team will be led by Dr. Paula R. Dhanda and Dr. Arthur Bikangaga.

Dr. Kenneth Cartwright, Anesthesiologist
“I volunteer because I have been blessed with the opportunity to practice medicine and with this blessing comes certain responsibility.  Worldwide Healing Hands presents an arena to carry out this responsibility.  I am honored to do so.” Dr. Cartwright has previous volunteer experience in Tanzania.

Philip Fitch, Surgical Technician
“I am volunteering because the care that Worldwide Healing Hands shares with other people out of love and respect, not for profit or recognition.” Philip has been active in assisting Worldwide Healing Hands with surgical instrumentation and supplies.

Michael DelValle, Contractor
“The ones who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do. I would like to follow in Dr. Dhanda’s footsteps to help and change the world. This is a dream come true.” Michael is currently researching the need/availability of hydrogen and solar energy in third world countries and low resource areas.

Amber Dems, Publicist
“I would like to utilize my skills with public relations and social media, to create awareness of problems that would otherwise be unseen.” Amber is a nationally published journalist.

Nathan DeHart, Professional Photographer
“I believe in the cause and feel called to serve in this way.” Nathan has traveled as a photographer to South East Asia, India and Nepal documenting the work of several NGO’s.

Jasmin Clarke, Student
“I love helping people in any way possible and doing these missions really inspires me. I would love to be a surgeon and continue to help people.” This will be Jasmin’s second mission with Worldwide Healing Hands.

Carly Alvord, Volunteer
“I have great admiration and respect for the work of Dr. Paula Dhanda and her team both locally and internationally. I am eager to help in any way I can.” Carly has previous volunteer experience in Germany.
